FIRESTARTERS Story Mode, Arcade Mode and leaderboards
FIRESTARTERS has a Story Mode told through visual novel cutscenes and an Arcade Mode for high scores. In the story, Kera, a former street delinquent from Okinawa, fights in STEEL for a new team of prisoners called the Firestarters. Once you clear a stage, called a Storm, in the story, you can replay it in Arcade Mode for a score on Steam leaderboards.

STEEL is described as the world's top-rated livestream, a Japanese gladiator sport run by a crime syndicate. The opponents are androids, and the crowd rewards speed and high scores, not just survival.
